It was a P day!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!
Yesterday was all about Party, Pizza, Pumpkins!!
After school the girls had their Daisy scout halloween party / Juliette Lows B-day!
The girls had so much fun and looked so cute in their costumes!
They made the cutest scarecrow cookies!
Round sugar cookies
Sugar wafers
Chocolate chips
Candy corn
and they are suppose to have fiber one cereal for hair but I forgot it ;) OOPSIE!

They still came out really cute though!

Bobbing for Apples!!
(the sanitary, one apple and one person at a time method)
After the girl scout party we stopped by the local little Cesar's pizza for a couple of $5 pies (who can beat that price??) and finally got ready to carve our pumpkins!! Nothing like waiting til the last minute!!

Our pumpkins Pre-Op

"Awwww, you didn't tell me you were going to kill it!"-Linus

They worked sooo hard on their creations!

It is always fun seeing each child's personality shine through.

"Mom, Did you know humans have guts too? Pumpkin guts are cooler though!"

-Heard while scooping ;)

Left to right: The abstract artist (the whole pumpkins is covered with shapes, stairs, etc...), The "I'm gonna do it by myself" (came out better than I thought and with no blood shed!), and the last one drew her sponge bob on but wanted me to do most of the cutting.

Great pumpkin carving!

Your method of dunking for apples however is WAY to sanitary! :) Where have the good old days gone when we used to use a hog troth.
